Grass clippings, pine straw, limbs, and other yard materials to be picked up by the Town should not be placed in the street. Doing so creates a potential safety problem for motorists and will lead to blockage of the Town storm water drainage system. Yard waste is picked up on Wednesday and Thursday each week (see below schedules for your area). Chapter 98.23 of the Winterville Code of Ordinances prohibits placement of objects in streets, gutters, and other drainageways.
