The Town of Winterville Fire Department provides fire services to both the area within the Town limits and the Winter Rural Fire District surrounding the Town. A total of 14,000 residents live within the 30 square mile area including the two areas. All of the members of the Department are volunteers. The Department’s ISC insurance rating is 6/9.
