NO Recycle routes will run the week of September 16^th

Residential Garbage

• If you have a “Blue” recycling container, please call Public Works at (252)-756-2221 Ext. 2412 complete to be put on the list to be swapped with the new “Green” recycling container and urge your neighbors to do the same.
• Please review the maps linked here for your updated collection days and new routes.
• NO RECYCLING routes the week of September 16^th; next recycling routes the week of September 23^rd. See waste collection calendar.
• Garbage containers will be picked up on designated day of the week. Put out the container the night before your pickup day. (Container Placement)
• Please review the changes to what can be recycled. Many of the items that are thrown in the recycling container are not allowed and will be considered contamination by the recycling processor. It is important to include only the allowed items in your recycling container. Never place garbage in your recycling container.
