What:

A car seat checkup event at Winterville Fire/Rescue, as part of Child Passenger Safety Month.

Nationally-certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians, Safe Kids Pitt County, Vidant Medical Center and Winterville Fire/Rescue will join 500 other locations around the country, to help raise awareness of child passenger safety.

Visuals will include certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians teaching parents how to avoid common mistakes as they install car seats. They will also provide parents with their child’s current height and weight and offer tips and advice about the car seat they are using.
