The mission of the Town of Winterville Parks & Recreation Department is to effectively and efficiently meet the recreation needs and interests of residents of all ages. Efforts to fulfill our mission focus on the updating of present facilities and playgrounds, planning for the acquisition of future facilities, and the provision of a wide range of year round recreation activities that utilize traditional and innovative programming ideas.
Fall Youth Sports Program Registration
Regular walk-in and online registration begins on June 26th! To register online, click the “Online Registration and Reservation” link near the top of this page. Walk-in registration is available at the Winterville Operations Center (2936 Church Street), during normal business hours. Outdoor Concert and Movie Series - October Events
The Winterville Parks & Recreation Summer Movie & Concert Series is held at the Winterville Recreation Park Amphitheatre. Admission is free and concession stand is open for all refreshment needs. All bands play 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. All movies begin at dusk (approximately 30 minutes after sunset).

Letters To Santa
The Town of Winterville is pleased to announce that Santa Clause has placed a special Letters to Santa mailbox inside Winterville Town Hall! The mailbox is located just inside the front doors of Town Hall at 2571 Railroad Street, Winterville.
Please have letters to Santa dropped off no later than November 12th. This will ensure that Santa has enough time to read and reply to each child’s letter, before Christmas. Please ensure that letters have a legible name and return address for Santa to properly address the response.
Fall Tennis/Pickleball Programs
We are excited to announce that our fall tennis and pickleball programs are now open for enrollment! We have the perfect options for juniors and adults, beginner through intermediate. These programs, taught by professional instructors, bring the perfect balance of fun and technique development with an emphasis on building a strong and positive tennis community right here in the heart of Winterville, NC.

Youth Tennis Program Times: 8 and Under (Beginner + Intermediate) + 10 and Under (Beginner) Tuesdays 4:30-5:30pm
10 and Under (Intermediate) + 14 and Under (Beginner + Intermediate) Tuesdays 5:30-6:30pm
Adult Tennis Program Times: (Beginner + Intermediate) Tuesdays 6:30-7:30pm

Pickleball

Youth Pickleball Program Times: 14 and Under beginners Thursdays 4:30-5:30pm
Adult Pickleball Program Times: Beginners Thursdays 5:30-6:30pm
Intermediates Thursdays 6:30-7:30pm
Cost: $85 per participant
Yoga
In this session classes will be beginner friendly and accessible to everyone. You will work on connecting breath with movement allowing you to create more awareness of the body and mind. Classes will work through sequences helping improve balance, range of motion, flexibility, and overall physical and mental well-being. Variations of postures will be available to allow the student to make the practice their own. This class is great for people with no prior experience and those who already have a yoga practice. Participants are required to bring their own personal yoga mat to each class.

Registration: Register in person at the Winterville Operations Center or online beginning September 19th.
Session Information: Total of 5 classes per session. Classes every Thursday from 5:45 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. Please see program catalog in registration system for dates.
Session Dates: October 17th - November 21st
Cost: $50 per participant. Must register for entire session, no drop-in.
Zumba
Perfect for everybody and every body! Each Zumba class is designed to bring people together to sweat it out.
How it works: We take the "work" out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. Once the Latin and World rhythms take over, you'll see why Zumba Fitness classes are often called exercise in disguise.
Benefits: A total workout, combining all elements of fitness - cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility, boosted energy and a serious dose of awesome each time you leave class.

Cost: $40.00 per participant. Must register for entire session, no drop-in.
