Winterville Tree Lighting Ceremony & Town Council Reception. Come join the Mayor, Town Council, Town Employees, and citizens of Winterville for the annual Winterville Tree Lighting Ceremony. The Tree Lighting Ceremony is on December 1st at 6:00 p.m. and features Christmas Carols, gift card giveaways, reading of The Night Before Christmas by Mayor Doug Jackson, and the lighting of the Winterville Christmas Tree. The Winterville Town Council Reception will follow the Tree Lighting Ceremony at the Winterville Fire Department. Guests will be treated to snacks and refreshments!
