CMSD
The Town of Winterville owns and operates it's own sanitary sewer collection system. All of the wastewater is collected and then pumped to the Contentnea Metropolitan Sewerage District (CMSD) treatment plant in Grifton where it is treated and discharged into the Contentnea Creek.
