Post Winter Storm Conditions – Town of Winterville

Post winter storm conditions continue as we head into today, Tuesday, February 3rd. However, with warming temperatures and the shining sun, we expect conditions to improve. Town crews are working on roads and sidewalks and NCDOT are working on state-maintained roads.

We continue to urge caution when driving as many areas of snow/ice remain and some roads are much worse than others. Temperatures will drop significantly as night approaches and  “black ice” will certainly be a concern.
