Old Tar Road (SR-1700 both directions south of Winterville) will be closed for maintenance south of Jack Jones Road Thursday, April 30, 2026, from 8:00 am to Friday, May 1, 2026, at 5:00 pm. The detour route will be posted by NCDOT: Old Tar Road to Jack Jones Road to County Home Road to Ayden Gold Club Road to Old Tar Road.
