Adult Slow Pitch Softball
Winterville Parks & Recreation offers adult slow pitch softball for men's, women's, and co-ed divisions within Church and Open Leagues. Season typically runs June-August. Program is structured for team registration however, individual registration is available.
Rules
Winterville Softball league charters and follows USSSA adult slow pitch softball rules.
2021 Registration: April 12th - May 9th
- We are no longer charging team entry fees. Player fees have increased as a result of dropping team fees.
- Team must provide their own uniforms. Please see rules (above) for information regarding uniforms.
- Registration includes a dozen game balls (per team) for use during game season.

Online Registration Instructions:
Select applicable program then select registration according to the following information.
Individual Registration: Participant does not have a team and is registering as a free agent. Free agents are assigned to teams based upon availability.
- Participant pays registration fee.
Team Registration: Participant creates a team, creates manager (if not manager), and registers for program/team.
- Participant pays registration fee.
Join Team: Participant is registering to play on team that has been created. Must have team code to register for team.
- Participant pays registration fee.
Create Team: Individual is creating a team and manger (if not manager). Does not register creator to program or team. There is no charge associated with this action.
- No registration fees charged.
Rosters
All rosters must be completed and returned to the Department by registration deadline. If playing in Church Division, roster must be signed by Pastor of the associated church.
Liability Waiver & Medical Release
Each team is required to provide the Parks and Recreation Department a signed Recreation Consent Form from each player on their roster prior to the start of the season. If a player is found to have not turned in a signed consent form, they will not be allowed to participate. Any players added to the roster during the season, must submit the aforementioned consent form 1 business day prior to participating in a game.
